MindTree to partner Murex

Bangalore, Oct. 17

IT and R&D services provider MindTree Ltd said on Friday it has become a preferred system integration partner for Murex, a maker of software for trading, risk management and processing. MindTree would help Murex’s clients migrate to its new MX.3 platform, said Mr Philippe Helou, Founding Partner, Murex. It would also provide remote support services to Murex’s clients.

MindTree has been working with Murex in implementing and integrating their solutions, but at the client locations in Japan, Australia as well in Europe. But now, the company would be providing these services from an offshore development centre (ODC) in India, said Mr Krishnakumar Natarajan, Chief Executive, MindTree.

By shifting the work to an ODC, Murex would not only gain from the offshoring benefits, but also from MindTree’s testing expertise, the company said. MindTree would help Murex’s clients with newer features and functionalities and also reduce the time to market, said Mr Natarajan. –
