Bangalore, Oct. 17 MphasiS Ltd, an EDS company, posted a 112.8 per cent increase in net profit for the second quarter. Net profit increased to Rs 141.1 crore, compared with Rs 66.3 crore in the year-ago period, the company said in a statement.

For the quarter, revenue increased 39 per cent to Rs 836.1 crore from Rs 601.7 crore in the corresponding quarter last year. MphasiS said it had a foreign exchange gain of Rs 1,490 lakh for the period.

During the quarter, it added 20 new clients.
