Cera Sanitaryware ties up with Italian co

Ahmedabad, Oct. 17 Bathroom solutions provider Cera Sanitaryware Ltd has announced a tie-up with Italy’s tile maker Rondine Group for marketing the latter’s premium designer products in India.

The tie-up was announced here jointly by Cera’s Executive Director, Mr Vidush Somany, and Rondine Group President, Mr Lauro Giacobazzi, at a press conference. Under the agreement, Cera will have exclusive rights for marketing the premium range of Rondine Group’s tiles, priced between Rs 100 and Rs 400 per sq. ft. in India. The tie-up would strengthen the Ahmedabad-based company’s position in the premium designer tile segment, said Mr Somany.

Rondine’s special process of four-colour in-line digital printing system makes unique designs on tiles. Cera had been scouting for an Italian group for premium tiles. Last month, Cera had entered premium designer tiles with the opening of its exclusive retail showroom, Cera Vogue, in Delhi where it would market premium designer tiles and high-end sanitaryware. The company currently has eight bath studios, four bath galleries and 1,500 dealers and is going to open its Vogue store in Ahmedabad shortly.
