Andhra Bank's NRE term deposits

Hyderabad, Oct. 17

Andhra Bank has increased interest rates on nonresident external term deposits by 0.50 per cent on all maturities. The rates are 4.46-4.96 per cent for deposits between one-two years, 3.76-4-26 for two-three years and 4.06-5.56 on the period above three years. The revised interest rates would be with effect from October 16, 2008. Further, the bank has also increased interest on its-recently launched `AB Super' deposits from 10.25 to 10.50 per cent, according to a release. - Our Bureau
