Malabar Gold showroom coming up at Erode

Coimbatore, Oct. 17 Malabar Gold is planning to open its first showroom in Tamil Nadu at Erode on October 19, making it the 24th outlet for the company.

The showroom, spread over 7,000 sq ft, would showcase a wide of range of jewellery collection including traditional and designer bridal ornaments, party and work wear, diamond jewellery and branded watches.

Its Regional Director, Mr Asher, said all ornaments on display would sport a bar-coded tag comprising details such as weight of gold, stone and making charges.

Internationally renowned watch brands such as Rado, Tissot, Espirit, Citizen, Police and Seiko would be available at the Erode outlet and these would range from Rs 3,000 to around Rs 2 lakh, he said.

Outlets in tow

Malabar Gold, according to its Chairman Mr M.P. Ahamed, would be inaugurating its showrooms at Al-Ain and Bur-Dubai on October 18 and 22.

On domestic expansion, he said that outlets at Coimbatore, Salem, Madurai in Tamil Nadu, select locations in Karnataka and Andhra Pradesh were on the cards.
