Mumbai, Oct. 21 Kuoni and the Tourism Authority of Thailand have launched a brochure that showcases the various luxury destinations in Thailand. Urging Indians to visit the unexplored areas of Koh Samui, Krabi, Chaing Mai and Hua Hin, the brochure highlights the selection of spas, beaches and world class hotels in Thailand with holidays from Kuoni starting at Rs 54,500 onwards.

“We want to reposition Thailand as a preferred destination. Compared with last year, the number of Indians travelling to Thailand has increased by 28 per cent,” said Mr Sunil Gupta, COO-Outbound Division, Kuoni Travel Group.

In spite of the slowdown in the economy, outbound luxury travel has been unaffected and with fuel surcharge coming down, air tickets are likely to get cheaper, predicts Mr Gupta.
