PTC net jumps to Rs 33 cr

New Delhi, Oct. 26

Power trading firm PTC India Ltd announced on Friday that its net profit for the quarter ended September 30 jumped to Rs 33 crore, up from Rs 11.51 crore clocked during the corresponding quarter last fiscal, on higher traded volumes. Income from operations stood at Rs 2,031 crore, up 38 per cent over the Rs 1,467- crore recorded during the corresponding period of the previous financial year, a company statement said. In operational performance, the traded volumes during the quarter increased from 4,110 MUs (million units) to 5,159 MUs, higher by 25.52 per cent. - Our Bureau
