IOB offers support for biofuel projects

Coimbatore, Nov. 2 Indian Overseas Bank has offered to extend financial support to viable biofuel plant cultivation projects. Towards this, the bank conducted a workshop jointly with Nabard on ‘biofuel plant cultivation’. The programme was co-sponsored by Nabard under Agriculture Technology Transfer Fund Scheme.

Addressing farmers, IOB’s General Manager Mr S. Chandrasekaran stressed the need for finding alternate sources of bio-fuel.
