Soaring prices

In the midst of serious problems such asthe bomb blasts, the Sri Lankan issue, and so on, the Government, perhaps, finds little time to arrive at a solution to an equally important issue — the rise in the prices of various essential articles of daily use.

While the prices of vegetables have skyrocketed and become unaffordable to the common man, those of pulses and cooking oils have been high for quite some time.

Unless the governments, both at the the Centre and the States, do something to combat the soaring prices, the life of the ordinary citizens is bound to become miserable.
