Insurance employees oppose further liberalisation

Our Bureau

Bangalore, Nov. 4 The All India Insurance Employees’ Association has opposed further liberalisation of the insurance sector.

The insurance union said that it would strike work on the very next day after the Bill for amendments to the insurance statute was introduced in Parliament.

In addition, the union has also planned an all-India convention next month, opposing financial sector liberalisation. The union expressed displeasure over the delay in wage negotiations. The wage revisions were to have begun last year itself.
