Software IBS’ iCargo to provide IT solutions for Austrian Cargo Our Bureau Bangalore, Nov. 5 Austrian Cargo, the cargo division of Austrian Airlines, has chosen IBS’ iCargo to replace its legacy cargo management system as well as its cargo revenue accounting system. iCargo will enable Austrian Cargo’s business growth in the next decade by providing a single efficient end-to-end IT solution for its current and future business needs. Austrian Cargo has opted for iCargo’s hosted version iCargoNet that is based on the latest ‘Software as a Service’ (SaaS) model. iCargoNet for Austrian Cargo will be hosted at IBS’s data centre in Thiruvananthapuram that will also provide Austrian Cargo’s business users a 24x7 global help desk, said Mr Akshay Shrivastava, Senior Vice-President and Global Head of IBS’ Cargo Line of Business Commenting on the selection of iCargoNet, Mr Thomas Bernardy, Director Cargo Processes & Systems, Austrian Cargo, said: “We, at Austrian, are very proud of our efficient processes and our focus on quality of service to our customers.
