Haier Mobile unveils Icon series

Mumbai, Nov. 5

Haier Mobile has launched the Icon series handsets under the brand name ‘Sumukha’ for Tata Indicom. Through this series, Haier would be addressing the mass market segment as the Icon series would be pegged from Rs 1,888 onwards. At a press conference, Mr Arun Khanna, Managing Director, Haier Telecom, said, “Till date, Haier has sold 10 million handsets in the country. With this new series we would be focussing on the mass market”” Currently, H aier Mobile has a 20 per cent share in the CDMA mobile phone market.
