Our Bureau

New Delhi, Nov. 5 Indian captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni will now be endorsing Dabur’s Chyawanprash already being endorsed by Amitabh Bachchan.

The cricketer has been roped in by the FMCG company as “youth” ambassador, and will be seen in print and TV advertising Dabur’s newly-packaged Chyawanprash and its variants.

The ayurvedic health supplement is one of the largest brands in Dabur’s health supplements portfolio.

The company claims, the over 60-year-old brand controls over 65 per cent share of the chyawanprash market.

“Dabur is a leader in the field of Ayurveda. Indians consume Dabur products because it gives them the inner strength to stay fit.

“When we asked consumers to name Indians who represent these values of inner strength and leadership two names stood out - Amitabh Bachchan and MS Dhoni,” Mr V.S. Sitaram, COO (Consumer Care), Dabur India Ltd, said in a release.
