The Tamil Nadu Agricultural University has entered into an agreement with Kottayam-based AGRO-Biotech Research Centre for organising need-based certificate courses related to bio-fertilisers and bio-control agents through the Open and Distance Learning mode. The certificate courses proposed include – production of bio-fertilisers and bio-control agents, integrated nutrient management, integrated pest management, organic farming and basic and applied agriculture techn iques for crops such as rubber, coconut, vegetables, spices and paddy. It proposed programmes are to be offered in English and Malayalam. —
