A new dawn?

Daily wage workers at a field in Thrissur in Kerala. The State Government, as part of the Centrally-funded ‘Aam Admi Bhima Yojna’ insurance scheme, will introduce insurance cover for 6.5 lakh families with land holdings of not more than five cents. The scheme will offer a personal insurance cover of Rs 30,000 and an accident insurance cover of Rs 75,000.
