Delhi to host franchise event

New Delhi, Nov. 10

Over 250 Indian and global brands will be participating in Franchise India 2008 — a two-day international event, which includes exhibitions, conferences and awards, to be held from November 29 in New Delhi. Organised by Franchise India Holdings Ltd and supported by Indian Franchise Association, together with Entertainment World Developers Private Ltd, Franchise India 2008 will offer business to business platform for the franchise, retail and licensing industry to fac ilitate meetings, interactions and business deliberations. Mr Gaurav Marya, President, Franchise India Holdings Ltd, said, “ The event will help in the metamorphosis of ideas into opportunities and vision into successful business ventures in the coming year, as franchising will pave the path for self employment and business ownership during the current slowdown, and therefore contribute in the much needed acceleration of the economic growth.”
