Airlines Saudi’s Sama to fly in Indian skies Our Bureau Mumbai, Nov. 12 Sama Airlines, Saudi Arabia-based low fare airline launched its operations between Dammam and Mumbai on Wednesday. Launching the airline’s first destination in India, Mr Andrew Cowen, Chief Executive Officer, said, “The addition of Mumbai as Sama’s first destination in India and eleven international destination overall, is a part of our strategy to meet the huge demand for low fares travel betweenSaudi Arabia and India.” Speaking to newspersons, the airline’s Sales Manager for Western and Southern India, Mr William Pereira, said the airline would be mainly targeting working class passenger traffic from India to Saudi Arabia. scheduleSama Airlines will fly from Dammam to Mumbai and return with three flights a week on each Saturday, Monday and Wednesday. FaresIt would be deploying Boeing 737-300 aircraft on the route. The basic fare would begin from Saudi Riyal 199 (approximately Rs 3,600 excluding tax).
