Security tool for cyber cafes

Hyderabad, Nov. 13

Ideacts Innovations Private Limited, Internet media company, has joined hands with the Canadian company, Faronics, to offer its computer security management solution, DeepFreeze, in the Indian market.

The Mumbai-based company would buy the product in bulk (Rs 2,200 a copy) and give it free of cost to cybercafes across the country. “We will help the cafes run their PCs in a secured environment. On their part, they will lend the monitor to disp lay a collage of advertisements we send them online,” Mr Krishna Swami, Head (Operations – South and East) of Ideacts, said.He said the company has so far roped in 1,800 cybercafés across nine cities. –
