Finmeccanica picks CADES

Bangalore, Nov. 14

CADES, a product and design services organisation, said Italian aerospace group Finmeccanica has selected it as a preferred engineering supplier for its global sourcing programme. CADESis a preferred supplier to EADS and works with Boeing, Airbus, Fokker, HAL, ISRO and DRDO. The MD and CEO of CADES, Mr Dataram Mishra, said in a release that the multi-million-dollar services provided through the agreement would be eligible for the mandated offset credit. “Our experien ce in working with Indian and overseas companies on various aerospace and defence programmes can deliver value to Finmeccanica Group on its aircraft, helicopter, defence and space system programmes. We are looking forward to a long-term strategic cooperation with the Finmeccanica group,” he said.
