Heavy arrivals: Tender pinnacles on cardamom plant at a plantation in Kerala's Wayandu district.Cardamom prices have shown a declining trend on heavy arrivals since Diwali in view of the peak harvestseason. So far, total arrivals this season are estimated at 2,680 tonnes against 1,673 tonnes during the sametime a year ago.
