CII targets to cover 50 firms under HR audit

Our Bureau

Hyderabad, Nov. 18 The Confederation of Indian Industry, Southern Region (CII-SR), is planning to rope in at least 50 companies for assessment under its human resource excellence model in the current financial year.

“The CII-HR Excellence Model will help the companies enhance their HR capabilities and adopt better processes,” Mr B. Jaikrishna, HR Work Group Member, CII-SR, told newspersons on the sidelines of a CII-HR Excellence Model roadshow here on Tuesday.

Under the HR Excellence programme, CII would conduct a HR audit in companies to examine various processes being adopted by them. “The assessment will be carried out by senior HR professionals who are trained by CII Quality Institute. A certificate will be given after the successful completion of the audit,” he said.

“We hope to rope in at least 50 companies from each State for the assessment,” Mr Jaikrishna added.

The companies will have to pay a fee of Rs 75,000 to be assessed by CII.
