SAT to select two new members

Mumbai, Nov. 19 The appointment of two new members for the Securities Appellate Tribunal will be finalised by the Search Committee, which will meet in Mumbai on November 20 for the purpose.

The committee consists of the RBI Governor, the Presiding Officer of Securities Appellate Tribunal (SAT) and representatives from the Ministry of Finance.

The new appointments will fill up vacancies created by the retirement of Mr Arun Bhargava in mid-October, and the impending retirement early next year of Mr Utpal Bhattacharya.
