ICWAI signs MoU with Oman firm

New Delhi, Nov. 20

The Institute of Costs and Works Accountants of India (ICWAI) is co-promoting a new management accounting body in Gulf in the Sultanate of Oman. For this purpose, the ICWAI has entered into a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Omar Zawawi Establishment LLC (OMZEST), an Omani company. The MoU was signed in the presence of Mr Jitesh Khosla, Joint Secretary, Ministry of Corporate Affairs, and Mr B.B.Goyal, Advisor (cost), Ministry of Corporate Affairs. The ICWAI President, Mr Kunal Banerjee, said that ICWAI will be technically guiding Oman in developing the syllabus relevant for the Omanese economy and help them conduct the examination periodically. The pass certificate will be awarded by IMA Oman. - Our Bureau
