LVB hikes deposit rates

Coimbatore, Nov. 20

Lakshmi Vilas Bank has proposed an upward revision in its deposit rate in the one to two year time bucket by 50 basis points to 11 per cent for all except senior citizens, who would get an extra 0.5 per cent. The rate revision would become effective from November 21. The bank has retained the rates at the existing level for deposits in various other time buckets. —
