The Kerala Government is expecting a fall in tourist arrivals in the State in the wake of the global economic meltdown.

The Minister for Home and Tourism, Mr Kodiyeri Balakrishnan, told the State Assembly on Tuesday that the global economic crisis had hit the State’s tourism sector and that a 20 per cent fall in tourist arrivals was expected in November and December.
