Satyam, IIIT tie up

Hyderabad, Nov. 25

Satyam Computer Services has joined hands with Centre for Data Engineering of International Institute of Information Technology (IIIT) for doing collaborative work on research projects. The CDE conducts research in data engineering to develop innovative solutions in data and information management solutions. “We will focus on research and development in data mining and open source technologies. Besides, we will leverage the analytics expertise of IIIT to tap business opportunities in social networking,” Mr Swaminathan Srinivasan, Head of Business Intelligence. “The organisations will also work together to create methodologies and tools to extract knowledge from these networks and develop joint assets,” he said.
