Opinion - Letters
Giving bombs a label

Society is polarised on religion, caste and race. Things have not changed at the grassroots level. We need to eliminate this through proper system of education, social consciousness and awareness. Religion has become a sensitive issue. This was not the case three decades back, though in North India and Gujarat there were skirmishes.

As a society, it appears that we are heading for disaster.

The Hindu religion is being used as a puppet in the hand of the leaders. The Law College incident in Chennai is an instance of how politics and political ideologies have crept into the system of higher education.
