New Delhi, Nov. 26

A high-powered 12-member economic development mission from the State of Ohio, USA, is to visit India from December 2 to 11. The mission include mayors and economic development leaders from a cross-section of Summit County, who support new business ventures, promote investments and provide funding with tax incentives in their community. The delegates would be visiting Mumbai, Ahmedabad, Delhi and Bangalore, industry sources said. They would meet Chief Ministers, Ministers, mayors and industry heads with the objective of building export relationships, future investments and promotion of bilateral trade. The mission is expected to focus particularly on alternative and renewable energy, automotive components and accessories, automation and electronics besides plastics, polymers and industrial controls.
