Opinion - Letters
Free Indians

I completely agree with the thoughts expressed in the eloquent article “They don’t speak for me” (Business Line, November 28). I don’t think any Indian would ever dare or feel like attacking this great nation — motherland to all. Let us all join hands and let these terrorists know that we love our country and will counter every such move to destabilise it.

Let them know that we can overcome the economic crisis and any such obstacles on our own and that we do not need their concern for us.

They have made our lives miserable by attacking the country that has supported us in every path.

Indeed, Mr Ratan Tata’s words are inspiring: “We must stand together shoulder to shoulder as citizens of India and rebuild what has been destroyed”.

Let us make it clear to these intruders that we Indians (especially the Muslims, as they claim) do not need their support for our well-being. We are free Indians.
