Employment generation

The industrial development and employment generation in Maharashtra will be affected if Mumbai is perceived as unsafe.

The global economic slowdown has already hit the country, including Maharashtra, in terms of employment generation.

The need today is to take immediate steps to create a favourable atmosphere for attracting investment and creating millions of jobs. This can be done by promoting industrial projects, from both India and abroad amid a tighter security mechanism.

Only this will create confidence among the foreign investors.
