Meet reviews airport security

New Delhi, Dec 1 The security arrangements at various airports in the country were reviewed on Monday at a high-level meeting held by the Civil Aviation Secretary, Mr Madhavan Nambiar.

The meeting examined the preparedness of the different layers of mechanism of safety and security at the airports as well as in the airspace, an official statement states.

Besides, it also identified immediate steps to be taken in case of any emergency situation, the official statement adds.
