Allahabad Bank lowers FCNR rates

Kolkata, Dec. 1

Allahabad Bank has revised downward the interest rates on foreign currency non-resident (FCNR) deposits from Monday, according to a press release issued by the bank. The rates for NRE term deposits too have been reduced. However, the rate for NRE savings bank deposits remained unchanged, the press release added. —
