New Delhi, Dec. 2 Four new independent directors have been inducted to the board of ONGC, taking the total number to eight. According to a statement issued by ONGC, “with the induction of these four independent directors ONGC now has eight independent directors in its Board”. The board now comprises seven functional directors (including the Chairman and Managing Director), two nominee directors and eight independent directors. The new independent directors are Ms Chanda Kochhar , Mr S.S. Rajsekar, Mr S. Balachandran and Mr Santosh Nautiyal. Ms Kochhar is the Joint Managing Director & Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of ICICI Bank, while Mr Rajsekar is a first generation entrepreneur with over 30 years of experience in real estate promotion and trade.
