Airlines Marketing - Promotions & Offers States - Tamil Nadu Paramount Air holiday offer Our Correspondent Madurai, Dec. 3 Paramount Airways, the premium airline from the South, has launched a holiday offer. The airline will offer a complimentary ticket with every purchase of one Elite Business Class ticket. The offer is valid during the peak holiday season and the passengers will have to pay only the taxes and the surcharge on the complimentary ticket. “This makes possible all loved ones, relatives and friends to travel more and enjoy the value added services provided by us,” said Mr M. Thiagarajan, Managing Director, here on Tuesday. The airline has expanded to the western region recently and plans to go pan-India by 2010 and internationally by 2011. An addition of two more aircrafts is planned for 2009. At present, the airline is making 2000 flights a month. Currently, the airline enjoys 26 per cent market share in the sector, he added. ATF price cutAsked about passing on the benefit of ATF price reduction, he said the gain has been offset by the depreciation in the rupee and other costs calculated in dollar terms and added that, “however, we are exploring the possibility”. On the impact of the recent terror strike at Mumbai, he said the airline has been relatively insulated as it operates mostly in the South.
