Airtel expands network

Hyderabad, Dec. 3

Mobile services provider Bharti Airtel Ltd has expanded its network to 325 new locations across the State in the last three months. According to a release, most of the new locations have less than 5,000 populations and Airtel now covers 83 per cent of urban and rural population of the State. "The customer base of Airtel now stands at 7.8 million in Andhra Pradesh and one out of every three new customers is coming on Airtel network,'' the release said. Over 87,900 retail outlets are providing services to the customers in the State, it added. - Our Bureau
