Mumbai, Dec 3 The travel agents fraternity in India announced on Wednesday that it will stop the sales of Jet Airways and Jetlite, effective Thursday. In a statement, Travel Agents Association of India (TAAI) said, “The travel agents will withdraw their support to Jet Airways (including Jetlite) for all domestic and international routes and continue this until Jet Airways chooses to hold a meaningful discussion to address agents’ concerns.” The association also informe d that TAAI’s earlier decision to stop the sales of Kingfisher Airlines stands withdrawn with immediate effect. According to the release, “It was the unanimous decision of all travel industry associations along with all major players of the trade.” Along with TAAI, other associations TAFI, IAAI, ADTOI, IATO and ETAA were also present at the meeting held on Wednesday in New Delhi. — Our Bureau More Stories on : Airlines | Jet Airways (India) Ltd
