New Products & Services Optical specialty format Vision Express unveiled Our Bureau Bangalore, Dec.4 The recently formed 50:50 joint venture between Reliance Retail and Pearle Europe has announced the launch of its optical specialty format under the brand Vision Express, in Bangalore on Wednesday. The product portfolio comprises exclusive frames following the latest international fashion trends. Spectacle frames are available from Rs 299 and sunglasses with inherent UV Protection from Rs 399. L V Prasad Eye Institute imparts eye-care knowledge to its customer service representatives and also certifies all Vision Express eye care practitioners. Free eye tests are carried out by eye care specialists at the store. There are plans to open more Vision Express outlets across India in the next three years. According to Mr Jarek Widomski, CEO, Vision Express, India is a very potential market in terms of growth when it comes to eyewear products. Vision Express guarantees 100 per cent satisfaction on all purchases and after-sales services at the store. Pearle Europe Group, the biggest optical retail group in Europe, operates multiple optical retail companies and formats in 16 European countries under different retail brand names.
