Reliance Retail launches home furnishing

New Delhi, Dec. 5 As a part of its strategy to entrench into the niche retailing category, Reliance Retail, a subsidiary of Reliance Industries, has announced its foray into the home furnishing format ‘Reliance Living Furnishings’.

The company said it will open seven such formats by the end of this fiscal.

“There is no fixed target on the number of stores that we intend to set up. However, Reliance will continue its focus into the niche retail segment,” Mr Manu Kapur, Reliance Retail Senior Vice-President and Business Head (Home Furnishings and Décor), told newspersons here.

He said home furnishing format will offer co-ordinated three-tiered private label range namely Home One, My Home and My Home Premium.

The store started off with about 120 products including bedding, bath textiles, curtains, cushions, floor covering, table décor.
