Awards & Honours States - Tamil Nadu
Madurai, Dec. 7 Sterlite Industries (India) Ltd (SIIL), Tuticorin, was presented the ‘Gems of South Tamil Nadu’ award for its contribution to the State’s manufacturing revenues by investing in the southern region of Tamil Nadu. The award was presented on the occasion of ‘Southern prosperity through enhanced economic development (SPEED) 2008 conference, organised by the Confederation of Indian Industry, Madurai Zone, here on Saturday, Mr Thangam Thennarasu, Minister for School Education, presented the award to Mr Joseph J.M.
