NRIs States - Kerala Kerala offers land for NRI investors Our Bureau Thiruvananthapuram, Dec. 7 As part of its efforts to attract investments, the Kerala Government has worked out a scheme to make land in high-growth hubs in the State available to non-residents in the Gulf region for setting up industries. The scheme, an initiative of the Industries Department, covers land developed by Government agencies such as the Kerala State Industrial Development Corporation (KSIDC), Kerala Industrial Infrastructure Development Corporation (Kinfra) and the Directorate of Industries and Commerce (DIC), according to KSIDC officials. KSIDC is offering 175 acres of land in its Industrial Growth Centre at Mananthery village in Thalassery taluk at Rs 10.64 lakh per acre. Another 34 acres of land, suitable for light engineering industries, is available at Pudussery village, Palakkad district, on long-term lease basis.
