Satyam ties up with K2

Hyderabad, Dec 8

Satyam Computer Services has entered into a partnership with software maker K2 to provide business process management solutions (BPM) on Microsoft platforms. K2 is a US-based company that delivers workflow and BPM solutions based on its K2 blackpearl and K2 blackpoint software. Satyam will also engage with K2 on go-to-market activities to promote software adoption and sales.

"This partnership will benefit customers of both companies," said Mr Sriram Krishnan, Head of Content and Process Management at Satyam.

"K2's robust products, combined with Satyam's BPM consulting and implementation services, will deliver operational cost savings, error reduction and improvement for organizations throughout the world and in numerous industries, including energy, finance, healthcare, manufacturing, telecommunications and insurance."

In 2009, Satyam will develop a Centre of Excellence in Chennai that will ensure timely support, delivery and governance of K2-based solutions, a Satyam release said. - Our Bureau
