Rural Marketing Rural marketing case study contest Our Bureau Chennai, Dec. 8 The second edition of the Rural Marketing Works Case Study Contest, organised by the Rural Marketing Association of India (RMAI), has attracted over 30 entries covering 20 rural marketing case studies, initiated and actioned between April 1, 2006, and March 31, 2008. The RMAI Awards 2008 function to give away the trophies to the winners is scheduled to be held on December 22 in Mumbai. It will be preceded by a seminar where about eight shortlisted case studies in rural marketing will be presented by the participating agencies and corporates. According to an official statement, admission to the event is free to the members of RMAI. Other delegates would have to pay a fee of Rs 2,500 per head. There is a special concessional fee of Rs 500 for student delegates from management institutes. Tata Shaktee is the title sponsor of the event, which is co-sponsored by ICICI Bank (Agri-Rural-Banking Division) and Impact Communications.
