ICICI Securities online trading platform adds new feature

Mumbai, Dec. 8 ICICI Securities has added a new feature to its online trading platform to aid traders in the stock market operating through a laptop or phone while on the move.

The new feature in the online trading platform ICICIdirect.com announced on Monday will facilitate high-speed trading by customers who access the Internet using new generation technology such as GPRS and data cards, said an ICICI Securities release.

ICICI Securities operates the country’s largest online trading platform having 1.7 million customers.

“In today’s ever-changing market scenario, investors are leveraging communications and information-technology infrastructure in taking quick and informed decisions. Gauging this vital need of our customers, we have launched the new ICICIdirect.com on-the-move Web site that will facilitate high-speed transactions,” said Mr Anup Bagchi, Executive Director, ICICI Securities Ltd.
