Ericsson India has new MD

New Delhi, Dec. 10

Ericsson announced the appointment of Mr Gowton Achaibar as the head of its operations in India & Sri Lanka. Prior to this appointment, Mr Achaibar was the Executive Vice-President and General Manager for the Ericsson Services business in North America. Before joining Ericsson, he was Executive Vice-President of Business Development at AFL Telecommunications, a wireless network deployment services company. He has spent many years in wireline and wireless systems engine ering at AT&T Bell Laboratories. -
