Indian Hotels opens Vivanta

Bangalore, Dec. 15

Taj Hotels Resorts & Palaces on Monday announced the opening of its new premium hotel here. A press statement from The Indian Hotels Company, which runs Taj Hotels, said that the new hotel, Vivanta by Taj situated in Whitefield, Bangalore, has been positioned as an “upper upscale” hotel. The Taj now operates five hotels in Bangalore. The new hotel has 199 guest rooms. “Our growth plans envisage a critical role for this key metropolis and we look forwa rd to making a strong impression with this unique offering,” Mr Raymond N. Bickson, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of The Indian Hotels Company Ltd, said.
