WTO’s image

This has reference to the editorial “WTO on hold” (Business Line, December 19). The WTO was instrumental for the substantial gains made by the developing and developed economies. Only economists from the representing nations should participate in the negotiations; not the politicians.

It is hoped the WTO helps both the developing and developed economies in this period of slowdown era.
