Airlines SriLankan to suspend flights to 4 cities Our Bureau Thiruvananthapuram, Dec. 19 SriLankan Airlines is “temporarily suspending” flights from Colombo to four Indian cities from January 15. The airline is suspending flights to Kochi, Kozhikode, Coimbatore and Hyderabad, a company official confirmed. Flights are likely to be resumed by March-end by when more new aircraft may be inducted into the fleet, the official added. The flights are being suspended as part of the airline’s ‘re-fleeting’ programme under which it is introducing several new aircraft and retiring older aircraft.
