Mumbai, Dec. 18 National Institute of Securities Market will conduct a training programme in Mumbai, Delhi, Kolkata and Chennai for accounting professionals during January-March 2009 to undertake internal audit of the books and records of stockbrokers. The first training programme has been scheduled at BSE Training Institute, Mumbai, on January 9-10, said a SEBI release. The SEBI recently directed stockbrokers to carry out comprehensive internal audit of their books and records on half-yearly basis by independent, qualified chartered accountants.
