NGRI scientist gets GSI award

Hyderabad, Dec. 21 The Geological Society of India has presented the M R Srinivasa Rao award to Dr G. Parthasarathy, a scientist and Deputy Director of National Geophysical Research Institute (NGRI), for the year 2008. He won the award for his contribution in the field of petrology relating to India, an NGRI press release said.
