Satyam episode

One hopes the Government, in general, and the IT industry, in particular, understand the domino effect of the recent developments related to Satyam Computer Services Ltd. No doubt it is a face loss for the company, but the Government must pursue the matter until it gets some answers, as as the recent incidents have tarnished the image of the Indian IT industry.

A sector that is a major foreign currency earner is under grave threat and the Government must put in place corrective mechanisms to prevent any further incidence of a company falsifying information, and bringing a bad name to the industry.
